Hi guys, I may be the last guy here to figure this one out, but for me it was a little epiphany. And there must be somebody with the same problem out there somewhere.
I've spent all this money on New Line boots for my Fallschirmjgers. I've spent hours lacing them up. More hours trying to get the laces tight. And getting the boots around the pants hem has been a frustration as well.
And after all that work, I end up with something that looks like this:

I did a little thinking. I remembered my 8th grade baseball coach, Mr. Falkner, teaching us how to fold our stirrups over the pants hem from the inside, before pulling the pants up, so that they would look neat and not fall down. I tried it with a Fallie, and loved the results. Here's how I did it:
First, take off the trousers, lace the boots up tight, and tie them, leaving plenty of excess lace:

(Every Fallschirmjger's secret nightmare!)
Then turn the trousers inside out:

Un-knot the cinch cord in the trouser hem. Pull the pants bottom over the boot.

Be sure to keet the fly in the front.
Now pull the cinch cord tight. Then, tightly tie the excess boot lace around the hem.

Now, gently pull the trousers up over the boot. The result impressed the hell out of me.

Not all the 1:6 Fallschirmjger pants are this baggy. Here's the first one I did, with a slightly less baggy one. I still think it looks good.
